Notice of Application to Acquire Bank Branches

Notice is given that an application has been made to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC") for Bank of Hope (Los Angeles, California) to acquire eight branches of SMBC MANUBANK (Los Angeles, California). The locations of the SMBC MANUBANK branches being acquired by Bank of Hope are: 515 S Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071; 1301 Dove Street, Newport Beach, CA 92660; 970 W. 190th Street, Torrance, CA 90502; 16255 Ventura Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 91436; 100 S. State College Boulevard, Brea, CA 92821; 9720 Wilshire Boulevard Beverly Hills, CA 90212; 21550 Oxnard Street, Los Angeles, CA 91367; and 500 N. Brand Boulevard, Glendale, CA 91203.  It is contemplated that all offices of the above-named institutions will continue to be operated.

Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional Director of the FDIC at the San Francisco Regional Office, 25 Jessie Street at Ecker Square, Suite 2300, San Francisco, CA 94105, not later than May 27, 2026. The non-confidential portions of the application are on file at the FDIC San Francisco Regional Office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the nonconfidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request.
