Public hearing for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan.

CITY OF ANAHEIMPUBLIC NOTICE AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGFISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 DRAFT ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Anaheim has prepared a Fiscal Year 2026-2027 (FY 26/27) Annual Action Plan (AAP) as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to receive federal funds: 1) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), 2) HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), 3) Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and 4) Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds. The 2026 Action Plan outlines projects for funding for the program year 2026-2027. In FY 2026-2027, the City is allocated to receive from HUD $3,964,701 in CDBG funds, $1,306,590.89 in HOME funds, $357,380 in ESG funds, and $3,876,551 in HOPWA funds.
The FY 26/27 AAP will be published for public comment for a 30-day period running from Monday, April 27, 2026 through Wednesday, May 27, 202 6 . On Wednesday, June 3, 2026 City staff will hold a public hearing to receive additional public comments on the FY 26/27 Action Plan.

The City will consider and include all comments in the FY26/27 Action Plan. A copy of the proposed FY 26/27 AAP will be available online as of Monday, April 27, 2026 at www.anaheim.net/841/HUD-Reports and hard copies are available upon request at Anaheim West Tower (Housing & Community Development Department), 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., Tenth Floor, and at the Anaheim Central Library Reference Desk, 500 W. Broadway, Anaheim, CA 92805.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION All persons interested are invited to appear at the public hearing and be heard. Additionally, members of the public can submit written comments by sending them to LLy@anaheim.net or by calling (714) 765-4300 ext. 4728. To ensure distribution to the Anaheim Housing and Community Development Commission prior to consideration of the agenda, please submit comments prior to 3:00 P.M. the day of the meeting. Those comments, as well as any comments received after 3:00 P.M., will be made part of the official public record as well as included in the final documents submitted to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
ACCESSIBILITY: If requested, the agenda and backup materials will be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with a disability, as required by Section 202 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. Sec. 12132), and the federal rules and regulations adopted in implementation thereof.
