PLACER COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

WHEN: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 – 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as can
be heard
SUBJECT: Public Hearing to consider a Resolution to annex Assessor Parcel Numbers 474-130-007-000, 474-130-009-000, 474-130-010-000, 474-130-017-000, 474-130-018-000, 474-130-022-000, and 474-130-024-000, into County Service Area 28, Zone of Benefit 165 – Dry Creek Fire and Emergency Services
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Placer County Board of Supervisors (Board) will conduct a public hearing at the above place and time to consider the annexation of the property located on Assessor Parcel Numbers 474-130-007-000, 474-130-009-000, 474-130-010-000, 474-130-017-000, 474-130-018-000, 474-130-022-000, and 474-130-024-000 into County Service Area 28, Zone of Benefit 165 – Dry Creek Fire and Emergency Services, for purposes of financing fire protection and emergency medical services. The subject property is the entirety of the Mill Creek Project, consists of approximately 65.16 acres and is generally located south of PFE Road, between Cook Riolo Road and Antelope Road in the West Placer area.
On April 14, 2026, the Board adopted a Resolution that declared the Board's intent to annex the subject property into existing County Service Area 28, Zone of Benefit 165 – Dry Creek Fire and Emergency Services, and to charge a fee to pay for such public services. This proposal is made pursuant to California Government Code Section 25217, et seq. No change in the current fee in the existing County Service Area Zone of Benefit is proposed.
Interested persons are invited to attend the hearing through the means provided on the meeting agenda, found at https://www.placer.ca.gov/10616/_2026. Accommodations for disabled or non-English speaking residents will be made available upon advance request; please contact the Clerk of the Board at (530) 889-4020.
