NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE OXNARD UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT REGARDING THE CONVEYANCE OF EASEMENT TO AMCAL SOMIS RANCH FUND FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING A PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ON THE DISTRICT PROPERTY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of the Oxnard Union High School School District (“District”) has adopted Resolution No. 26-17 (“Resolution of Intent”). This Resolution of Intent, adopted on April 22, 2026, declares the Board’s intention to convey to the AmCal Somis Ranch Fund (“AmCal”) an easement (“Easement”) over a corner portion of the District’s Rancho Campana High School property (“Property”), which is located at 4235 Mar Vista Drive in Camarillo, California, on land identified as Ventura County Assessor Parcel Number 156-0-200-045. The Easement allows AmCal to pedestrian bridge from its adjacent property onto a portion of the Property, which will be used for student access from AmCal’s farm housing development. A copy of the Resolution of Intent is on file at the District’s office located at 1800 Solar Drive. Oxnard, CA 93030 (“District Office”). The Board is calling a public hearing on this matter. The public hearing will be held on May 6, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, at the District Office to consider the proposed conveyance of the Easement to AmCal. At such time and place, the Board will receive public comments and public protests, if any, with regard to this matter. Comments may be submitted in writing or orally to the Board at the time of such public hearing. Written protests may be withdrawn in writing at any time before the conclusion of the public hearing.
