ORANGE COUNTY WATER DISTRICTNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGFOR PURPOSE OF DETERMINING NEED AND DESIRABILITY OF LEVYING A REPLENISHMENT ASSESSMENT(S) AND A BASIN EQUITY ASSESSMENT, BASIN PRODUCTION PERCENTAGE, PRODUCTION REQUIREMENT LIMITATION AND SURCHARGE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to Sections 27, 27.1 and 31.5 of the Orange County Water District Act, a Public Hearing for the purposes of determining the need and desirability of levying a replenishment assessment and fixing the rate thereof and determining the need and advisability of levying an additional replenishment assessment against all persons operating water producing facilities for all purposes other than irrigation, and for the purpose of determining the need and desirability of levying a basin equity assessment and fixing the amount thereof as well as the need for establishing production requirements and limitations and surcharges and the extent thereof as to each person or operator within the District for the ensuing fiscal year, will be held by the Board of Directors of the Orange County Water District on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter, as the matter may be heard at the offices of said District, 18700 Ward Street, Fountain Valley, California, and by electronic and virtual means as described below, at which time and place all persons and operators of water producing facilities within said District may appear and be heard in regard to any of the foregoing matters.
* As a convenience for the public, OCWD will hold this Public Hearing by Zoom webinar as well as in person in the District Boardroom. Persons wishing to attend and participate in this Public Hearing may do so by in person attendance, telephonically by dialing (213) 338 8477, or virtually via internet remote access at https://ocwd.zoom.us/j/87881361298.
