NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Trinity County Library Conference Room located at 351 Main Street, Weaverville, California, the Trinity County Planning Commission will hold public hearings regarding the following items: ABANDONMENT HEARING for the Rattlesnake Mine, located on Assessor Parcel Number (APN): 003-090-006-000 GENERAL PLAN EIR PUBLIC SCOPING MEETING: An opportunity for the public, as well as responsible and trustee agencies, to submit comments on the scope of the EIR. The programmatic EIR will evaluate the potential impacts associated with the development of the preferred land use scenario that may occur within the Plan Area through the year 2050. (County Wide) CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (P-24-14): A request to place an unmanned 100 ft. monopine wireless communication tower in a 900 sq. ft. fenced compound with a 30kw DC generator with a 125-gallon diesel tank. To improve coverage and capacity in and around the town of Hayfork and surrounding area. The project is located on 6.20 acres in the unincorporated community of Hayfork CA, in Trinity County. Physical address: 320 Reservoir Rd., Hayfork CA. Assessor Parcel Number (APN): 014-330-036. Zoning: Public Facility (PF). ALL INTERESTED PARTIES are encouraged and invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed actions or be present at the public hearing. A copy of the staff report will be available on the Trinity County Agendas & Minutes website at: https://www.trinitycounty.org/Agendas-Minutes-Staff-Reports and will be available for review at the Planning Division office at least 72 hours prior to the hearing. Written comments may be submitted to Trinity County Planning Department at 530 Main St. Weaverville, by mail to PO Box 2819 Weaverville, CA 96093, or by email to info.planning@trinitycounty.org. Written comments must be received by the close of business on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 or they may not be considered by the Commission.
