HILMAR UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS At its regular meeting on May 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Board Room of the Hilmar Unified School District Office at 7808 North Lander Avenue, Hilmar, California, the District's Governing Board will conduct a public hearing to receive comments and input from the public on its proposal to increase the school facility fee on residential construction and reconstruction to $5.38 per square foot, increase the school facility fee on new commercial or industrial construction from $0.03 to $0.87 per square foot, depending on the category of construction. Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995 authorize the proposed fees. Any interested party may make an oral or written presentation at said hearing regarding the above fees. If this proposal is adopted, these changes in school facility fees will become effective on July 11, 2026, which is 60 days after the proposed adoption of the resolution levying such fee by the Governing Board. As required by Government Code section 66016, cost and revenue data supporting the above increase in fees is available for public review at the District's Administrative Office, 7807 North Lander Avenue, Hilmar, California, between the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
