REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 6:00pm , or as soon thereafter as the case may be heard, the City Council of the City of Irwindale will conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chambers located at 5050 N. Irwindale Avenue, Irwindale, California, to consider the following: RESOLUTION NO. 2026263737 ADOPTING CERTAIN FINDINGS, APPROVING AN ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACT, AND APPRORIATING FUNDS FOR ENERGY RELATED IMPROVEMENTS TO CITY FACILITIES WITH SYSERCO ENERGY SOLUTIONS, INC. IN ACCORDANCE WITH CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 4217.10 TO 4217.18 The purpose of the public hearing is to present certain findings, receive public comments, and consider approval of an Energy Services Contract for the design, installation, and implementation of energy conservation measures. These improvements may include, but are not limited to, new solar carports, new rooftop solar, building envelope sealing of citywide facility doors, smart irrigation and booster pumps at city parks, replacement of skylights, and thermostat upgrades to citywide facilities, and other related infrastructure improvements. Based on the scope of work, these improvements are categorically exempt from CEQA under Section 15268 Ministerial Projects. Pursuant to California Government Code Sections 4217.104217.18, the City Council will consider findings that the anticipated cost to the City for implementing the energy conservation measures will be less than the anticipated marginal cost of thermal, electrical, or other energy that would have been consumed by the City in the absence of such improvements. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and provide comments. Written comments may also be submitted to the City Clerk's Office prior to the hearing.
