Public hearing on the proposed 2025 Urban Water Management Plan.

CITY OF LA HABRA LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Habra will hold a duly noticed public hearing on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 100 East La Habra Boulevard, La Habra, California to consider the following item:
THE CITY’S PROPOSED 2025 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN (“UWMP”), 2025 WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN (“WSCP”), AND APPENDIX C AS AN ADDENDUM TO ITS 2015 UWMP IN ADVANCE OF THEIR PROPOSED ADOPTION
The public hearing is being held in accordance with the Urban Water Management Planning Act (California Water Code Sections 10610 through 10656; herein referred to as the “Act”). The Act requires “every urban water supplier providing water for municipal purposes to more than 3,000 customers or supplying more than 3,000 acre-feet of water annually” to prepare, adopt, and file a UWMP with the California Department of Water Resources and review and update its UWMP every five years. The purpose of the public hearing will be to solicit public comment prior to adoption of the proposed updated UWMP and WSCP.Copies of the proposed 2025 UWMP, 2025 WSCP, and Appendix C as an Addendum to its 2015 UWMP are available for public inspection at either the Water Division of the Department of Public Works of the City at 621 West Lambert Road, La Habra, CA 90631 during normal business hours of 6:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or in the Office of the City Clerk at 110 East La Habra Boulevard, La Habra, CA 90631 during normal business hours of 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. It will also be available on the City’s website, www.lahabraca.gov.
