DATE OF HEARING:April 28, 2026TIME OF HEARING:7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possibleLOCATION OF HEARING:Laguna Niguel City Hall City Council Chambers 30111 Crown Valley Parkway Laguna Niguel, CA 92677 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed Zoning Code Amendment (“ZCA 26-0001”) is a City-initiated ordinance to amend Title 9 of the Laguna Niguel Municipal Code (“Code”). The purpose of the April 28, 2026, public hearing is for the Planning Commission to review the proposed ZCA 26-0001 (“Zoning Code Update”) and make a recommendation to the City Council for inclusion in the comprehensive Municipal Code recodification. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) under Section 15061(b)(3), which provides that a project is exempt from CEQA where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment. INVITATION TO BE HEARD: All interested persons are invited to the public hearing to be heard in favor of or in opposition to the proposal or to provide comments. In addition, written comments may be submitted to the Community Development Department prior to the hearing.
