NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND OF PROPOSAL FOR IMPLEMENTING SCHOOL FACILITIES FEES AS AUTHORIZED BY EDUCATION CODE SECTION S 17620 AND GOVERNMENT CODES 65995 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that immediately following a public hearing on the matter, a proposed resolution(s) will be considered by the Governing Board of Los Molinos Unified School District at its regular meeting on March 19th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., which if adopted by the Board will implement development fees established by the District against residential construction and reconstruction at $5.38 per square foot and against new commercial or industrial construction at $ 0.87 a square foot. The proposed fees are authorized by Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995. Data pertaining to the cost of school facilities is available for inspection during regular business hours at the District's administrative offices. The fee, if approved by the Governing Board, will become effective on May 18th, 2026, which is 60 days after the proposed adoption of the resolution levying such fee by the Governing Board. The Governing Board will also consider its exemption from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") relative to the increase in the fee and the adoption of a Notice of Exemption pursuant to Education Code section 17621, subd. (a). Any interested party may make an oral or written presentation at the public meeting. The Los Molinos Unified School District has made available to the public data indicating the amount or estimated amount required to provide the service for which the fee would be levied, and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the service, including general fund revenues.
