NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, pursuant to Section 6586.5 of the California Government Code, the City Council (the "City Council") of the City of Mill Valley (the "City") will hold a public hearing on May 4, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., at the regular meeting place of the City Council of the City located in the Council Chambers at 26 Corte Madera Ave, Mill Valley, California 94941, in respect of (1)the proposed financing of the design, acquisition, installation, and construction of certain public capital improvements located in various sites in the City of Mill Valley, including the construction of a new public works building on the Corporation Yard and the remodeling of the Golf Course Clubhouse operated by the City as an event space, with proceeds to be derived from the issuance and sale by the Mill Valley Public Financing Authority (the "Authority") of Lease Revenue Bonds payable from base rental payments to made by the City pursuant to a Lease Agreement between the City and the Authority, and (2)to determine the significant public benefits to the City from the proposed financings, including demonstrable savings to the City from the issuance and sale of such bonds, such as savings in effective interest rate costs and the more efficient delivery of municipal services to residential and commercial development (in accordance with Section 6586 of the California Government Code). Any interested person may appear at said public hearing to address the City Council of the City on the foregoing matters. Interested persons are invited to submit written or oral testimony at the public hearing.
