TOWN OF MORAGA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER: Compliance with AB2561/Government Code Section 3502.3 regarding Vacancies, Recruitment and Retention Efforts Notice is hereby given that the Moraga Town Council will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in order to present the status of Town vacancies, recruitment, and retention efforts in compliance with AB 2561. The vacancy rate is below 20% of the total number of authorized full-time positions within any single bargaining unit. The meeting will be held in person at The Town of Moraga, 335 Rheem Boulevard, Moraga, CA 94556. Written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk prior to the hearing date or before the beginning of the public hearing. Written comments should be emailed to townclerk@moraga.ca.us. All interested persons are also invited to observe the hearing and provide live public testimony on this matter. If you challenge the Town's action in this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered at, or prior to, the public hearing.
