OCEANSIDE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Community Development Commission of the City of Oceanside will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2026 AT 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 300 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, California, to consider the following: ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT PLAN (RD23-00005) AND DENSITY BONUS (DB23-00008) TO ALLOW THE CONSTURCTION OF A MIXED-USE PROJECT COMPRISED OF 230 RESIDENTIAL UNITS, INCLUDING 23 LOW-INCOME UNITS, AND APPROXIMATELY 5,240 SQUARE FEET OF COMMERCIAL SPACE ON THE 1.5-ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 801-815 MISSION AVENUE (801 MISSION AVENUE MIXED USE PROJECT) AND CONFIRMATION OF A CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION FOR AN IN-FILL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. APPLICANT: OCEANSIDE MISSION INVESTMENTS, LLC The Downtown Advisory Commission, at their April 23, 2025 meeting, recommended by a 5-1 vote (member Abril - no; members Calderon-Hass and Marshall absent) that the Community Development Commission approve the project. The proposed project is categorically exempt pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Article 19, Section 15332, “In-fill Development Projects.” Project materials and environmental documentation are available for review at the following website: https://crw.cityofoceanside.com/etrakit3/Search/project.aspx please utilize the project number listed above to identify the record for the subject project.
