NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE RECLAMATION DISTRICT 1001 LEVEE AND FLOOD CONTROL FACILITIES MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of Reclamation District 1001 intends to conduct a public hearing for the CONTINUATION of the Levee and Flood Control Facilities Maintenance and Repair Assessment District in fiscal year 2026-27 for the continued operation and maintenance of its flood control facilities in Sutter and Placer Counties. The Public Hearing to consider the ordering of the levy of the continued assessments for fiscal year 2026-27 will be held on May 27, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Reclamation District 1001 Office located at 1959 Cornelius Avenue, Rio Oso, CA 95674. Written or oral comments may be submitted to Board of Trustees prior to or at Public Hearing. The proposed assessment rate for the Levee and Flood Control Facilities Maintenance and Repair Assessment District is TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY-FOUR DOLLARS AND NINETY-FOUR CENTS ($294.94) per single family equivalent benefit unit in the South Zone, and a rate of TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY DOLLARS AND SEVENTY-EIGHT CENTS ($240.78) per single family equivalent benefit unit in the Central Zone, and ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND THIRTY-FOUR CENTS ($145.34) per single family equivalent benefit unit in the East Zone for fiscal year 2026-27.
