NOTICE OF CITY OF SAN LEANDRO PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 2026-2027 CDBG ANNUAL ACTION PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the City of San Leandro (City) will conduct a public hearing on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. to consider the adoption of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) FY 2026-27 Annual Action Plan (Plan) and Funding Allocations. The draft Plan is available for public review and comment from April 4 - May 4, 2026 at City Hall and the City's Housing Division website (https://www.sanleandro.org/housing). The Plan provides a concise summary of the actions, activities, and the specific federal and non-federal resources that will be used each year to address the priority needs and specific goals identified in the Consolidated Plan. The City anticipates receiving $771,290 in CDBG funds for FY 2026-27, proposed to be allocated toward public services, affordable multifamily rental housing rehabilitation, and program administration. CDBG Public Services are currently in the second year of a two-year funding cycle and new applications will not be accepted.
