NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE San Marcos Unified SCHOOL DISTRICT APPROVING TO INCREASE STATUTORY (LEVEL 1) SCHOOL FEES IMPOSED ON NEW RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17620 AND GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65995 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board ("Board") of the San Marcos Unified School District ("School District") will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Meeting to be held on 4/9/2026 to allow for public comment prior to consideration of its reports titled "School Facilities Fee Justification Report " ("Fee Report"), and consider adopting a resolution of the Board of the School District to increase Statutory (Level 1) School Fees imposed on New Residential and Commercial/Industrial Construction Pursuant to Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995. The Fee Report, justifying such increases and is incorporated herein by this reference, is on file at the School District's offices, located at 255 Pico Avenue Suite 250, San Marcos, CA 92069 , and is available for public review from 3/26/2026 through 4/9/2026 . The Public Hearing of the School District, to be held 4/9/2026 will begin at 6:30 pm or as soon thereafter as practicable, at the Governing Board Meeting Room, located at 255 Pico Avenue Suite 250, San Marcos, CA 92069 .
