NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND PUBLIC HEARINGS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG), HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS (HOME), AND PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION (PLHA) PROGRAMS PROGRAM YEAR 20262027 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Marin will make available Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds, and the Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Plan for Program Year 20262027. The CDBG and HOME federal funds, provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the PLHA state funds, provided by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), support activities that benefit low- and moderate-income persons and address community development needs. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a 30-day public comment period will be held on the County's proposed CDBG and HOME funding recommendations and the PLHA Plan. The public comment period will begin on April 17, 2026 and end on May 17th, 2026. The draft CDBG/HOME Program Year 20262027 funding recommendations and the PLHA Plan will be available for public review online at www.marincounty.org/federalgrants and in person at the Marin County Community Development Agency, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 308, San Rafael, CA 94903. NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the Countywide Priority Setting Committee (PSC) and the Marin County Board of Supervisors will hold public hearings to receive comments and consider approval of the proposed funding recommendations and the PLHA Plan.
