NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGZONING CODE AMENDMENT TO AMEND TITLE XV (LAND USAGE), CHAPTER 155 (ZONING) OF THE SANTA FE SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE TO CONDITIONALLY PERMIT TEMPORARY TRUCK, TRAILER, CHASSIS, OR CONTAINER STORAGE USES ON ENTITLED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE C-1, C-4, M-L, M-1, M-2, MU, MU-DT, AND MU-TOD ZONE DISTRICTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Santa Fe Springs will hold a Public Hearing to consider the following: PROJECT: A Zoning Code Amendment (ZCA) to amend Title XV (Land Usage), Chapter 155 (Zoning) of the Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code to conditionally permit temporary truck, trailer, chassis, or container storage uses on entitled properties within the C-1, C-4, M-L, M-1, M-2, MU, MU-DT, AND MU-TOD zone districts.LOCATION: Commercial, Industrial, and Mixed-Use zoned properties within the City of Santa Fe Springs. CEQA STATUS: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) (Pub. Res. Code § 21000 et seq.) and CEQA Guidelines (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 14, § 15000 et seq.) the proposed Ordinance is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), the “common sense” exemption, because it is reasonably foreseeable that the adoption of the proposed Ordinance would not result in a physical change in the environment, either directly or indirectly. Therefore, no additional environmental analysis is required.THE HEARING will be held before the City Council of the City of Santa Fe Springs in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 11710 Telegraph Road, Santa Fe Springs, California, on Wednesday, March 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to participate in the Public Hearing and provide input on the items listed above. Please note that if you challenge this item in judicial proceeding, you may be limited to issues that were raised during the Public Hearing or submitted in writing to the office of the City Clerk, on or before the Public Hearing.
