Public comment period for 2026-2027 Annual Action and Funding Plan begins March 11, 2026.

NOTICE OF 30-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING re.
2026-2027 ANNUAL ACTION AND FUNDING PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of San Buenaventura (Ventura) has prepared its DRAFT 2026-2027 Annual Action and Funding Plan. The public review and written comment period will begin on March 11, 2026 to April 11, 2026.
The DRAFT 2026-2027 Action Plan (Amended Plan) will be available for review as of March 11 2026 on the City's website at: https://www.cityofventura.ca.gov/2285/Community-Development-Grant-Programs. A printed copy of the Plan will be available in the City Clerk’s office during regular City Hall business hours at 501 Poli St, Ventura, CA 93001, Rm 204.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, 6:00 p.m., the City Council will conduct a public hearing at its regular meeting to consider approval of staff recommendations for the Action Plan. At this meeting, the Council will receive public comments on the Amended Plan and consider authorizing submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
PUBLIC COMMENTS
The Action Plan establishes the programs and activities to be undertaken using CDBG and HOME funds during the 2026-2027 program year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027. All interested parties are invited to provide comments on the draft 2026-2027 Plan during the 30-day comment period. Written communications may be directed to:

All interested persons are invited to be present and be heard at the public hearing. City Council meetings are currently conducted as a hybrid meeting allowing attendees to participate either in-person or virtually. POR LA PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA que la Ciudad de San Buenaventura (Ventura) ha preparado su BORRADOR del Plan Anual de Acción y Financiamiento de 2025-2026. El período de revisión pública y comentarios escritos será desde el 11 de marzo de 2026 hasta el 11 de abril de 2026.
El BORRADOR del Plan de Acción de 2026-2027 (Plan) estará disponible para su revisión a partir del 11 de marzo de 2026 en el sitio web de la Ciudad: https://www.cityofventura.ca.gov/2285/Community-Development-Grant-Programs. Una copia impresa del Plan estará disponible en la oficina del Secretario Municipal durante las horas de atención al cliente de City Hall, ubicado en 501 Poli St, Ventura, CA 93001, Sala 204.
El martes 14 de abril de 2026, a las 6:00 p.m., el Consejo Municipal llevará a cabo una audiencia pública en su sesión ordinaria para considerar la aprobación de las recomendaciones del personal para el Plan. El Consejo Municipal recibirá comentarios públicos sobre el Plan en esta reunión y considerará autorizar la entrega del Plan al Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de los Estados Unidos (HUD por sus siglas en inglés).
COMENTARIOS PÚBLICOS
El Plan de Acción da información actualizada sobre cómo se asignarán los fondos de CDBG y HOME durante el año programático 2026-2027. Se invita a todas las partes interesadas a presentar comentarios sobre el borrador del Plan de 2026-2027 durante el período de 30 días para comentarios. Dirija sus comunicaciones por escrito al:
