NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2025 REGIONAL URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN AND WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN BY WALNUT VALLEY WATER DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the WALNUT VALLEY WATER DISTRICT Board of Directors will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING for the purposes of adopting its 2025 Regional Urban Water Management Plan and its Water Shortage Contingency Plan. Information regarding the PUBLIC HEARING is as follows: Date: Monday, May 18, 2026 Time: 5:00 p.m. Place: 235 South Brea Canyon Road, Walnut, CA 91789 The 2025 Regional Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan were prepared pursuant to the Urban Water Management Planning Act and the California Water Code. The California Department of Water Resources requires every urban water supplier to prepare and adopt an Urban Water Management Plan, including the Water Shortage Contingency Plan, and periodically update the Urban Water Management Plan at least once every five years, in years ending in six and one. WALNUT VALLEY WATER DISTRICT welcomes and encourages all interested entities participation at the public hearing. A copy of WALNUT VALLEY WATER DISTRICT's Public Draft 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan will be available for review prior to the public hearing and adoption meeting. The documents may be reviewed at WALNUT VALLEY WATER DISTRICT's office located at 235 South Brea Canyon Road, Walnut, CA 91789 and can be accessed online https://walnutvalleywater.gov/ Written comments may be submitted prior to or at the public hearing.
