NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE SUFFICIENCY OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS 4/15/26 TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, PARENTS, TEACHERS, BARGAINING UNIT LEADERS, AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY INTERESTED IN THE AFFAIRS OF THE PAJARO VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. As condition for compliance with Education Code Section 60119 ad California Code of Regualtions Title 5, Section 9531c, local governing boards are required to hold an annual public hearing and adopt a resolution stating whether each pupil in the district has, or will have prior to the end of that year, sufficient textbooks or instructional material in the subjects of history-social sciences, English language arts, science, mathematics and world language or langues other than english consistent with the content and cycles of curriculum framework adopted by the State Board of Education consistent with the compliance regulations of the Williams Settlement. Therefore, a public hearing regarding instructional materials sufficiency, for the 2025-26 school year, will be held on April 15, 2026, at the regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District at 294 Green Valley Road, Watsonville, CA.
