PUBLIC NOTICE – PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE PROPERTYPURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17469, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 27, 2026, the Beaumont Unified School District ("District") Board of Trustees ("Board") adopted Resolution No. 2025-26-21 declaring its intent to auction approximately 18.76-acres of vacant land known as the "Pennsylvania Avenue Site" (Riverside County Parcel Nos. 418-240-011 and 419-770-007). The minimum bid is $4,500,000.00.Bids must be cash only. The property is sold "AS IS" with no warranties. The buyer must comply with all terms and conditions of the Resolution including the signing of a Purchase and Sale Agreement. There is a 90-day due diligence period, and escrow closes 30 days after, unless extended. A broker's commission up to 3% may be deducted from the highest bid if included in the offer.Submit sealed bids on the District's Bid Form with a $10,000 cashier's check payable to "Beaumont Unified School District." The deadline for written proposals is no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 350 W. Brookside Ave., Beaumont, CA 92223 ("District Office”), marked “Sealed Bid Proposal for Auction of Pennsylvania Avenue Site - DO NOT OPEN."
