NOTICE OF ELECTION SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA NOTICE OF INTENT TO PLACE MEASURE ON BALLOT In accordance with applicable provisions of the California Elections Code, Tehama County is taking the lead role in administering the election process for Measure T, as the majority of qualified voters eligible to vote on this measure reside within Tehama County. Shasta County, while seeking to satisfy its statutory notification requirements, acknowledges Tehama County’s primary jurisdiction in this matter. Those living within this school district should refer to the Tehama County Elections Office. All arguments must be submitted to Tehama County Elections Department as described below. For further information contact the Tehama County Elections Office. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Measures: Measure T, is to be voted on at the Statewide Primary Election to be held in the Antelope Elementary School District, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. The following measure will be submitted to the electorate of the Antelope Elementary School District: MEASURE T "To improve our children's elementary and middle schools, replace leaky roofs and deteriorating electrical and HVAC systems; improve student safety and school security systems; update classrooms and technology; and make other essential repairs and upgrades; shall Antelope Elementary School District's measure be adopted, authorizing $5,900,000 in bonds, levying approximately $30 per $100,000 assessed value, generating on average $385,000 annually, while bonds are outstanding, with public oversight and audits, all fends staying local and no money for administrator salaries?" Verified Arguments for and against these measures may be submitted to the Tehama County Elections Office at 633 Washington St, Room 17, Red Bluff not later than 5:00 P.M. on Friday, March 13, 2026 which has been determined by the County Clerk under the authority of California Elections Code Sections 9163 to be a reasonable date based on the time necessary to prepare and submit the arguments. No argument shall exceed 300 words in length. Pursuant to Section 9287 of the California Elections Code, one argument for and one argument against each measure will be selected for printing and distribution to the voters in the voter pamphlet. Preference and priority in selection will be given to arguments as follows: 1. The legislative body, or member or members of the legislative body authorized by that body; 2. The individual voter, or bona fide association of citizens, or combination of voters and associations, who are the bona fide sponsors or proponents of the measure; 3.
