PUBLIC NOTICE Concrete Replacement at Redwood City Transit Center: IFB 26-S-C-093 Notice is hereby given that the Contracts & Procurement Department of the San Mateo County Transit District (Agency) is seeking bids for the Concrete Replacement at Redwood City Transit Center project. Project work includes the removal and replacement of select pavement materials within active bus lanes, roadways, and pedestrian areas. To receive a copy of the solicitation documents, visit the Agency's procurement website Planet Bids (https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/68007/portal-home) where prospective Bidders may register as a vendor, and view, or download the solicitation documents, updates and other information. Registration is free. The Agency will conduct an online Pre-Bid meeting via Microsoft Teams on March 23, and mandatory Site Walk on March 24. For more information about the Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Walk, please refer to the Section 00250 - Pre-Bid Meeting of the solicitation document. Bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and must possess a valid California State Contractor's License, A - General Engineering Contractor, B - General Building Contractor, C-8 - Concrete Contractor, and/or C-12 - Earthwork and Paving Contractors, at the time of Bid Opening. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a Bidder's Bond in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Grand Total Bid Price. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, both in the amounts not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract amount. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, the successful Bidder may submit Securities in lieu of retention payments by the Owner.
