NOTICE OF ELECTION AND ARGUMENT DEADLINE FOR TRI-CITY HEALTHCARE DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on June 2, 2026, at which there will be submitted to the qualified electors of the district the following measure: MEASURE H - TRI-CITY HEALTHCARE DISTRICTIn order to improve medical and emergency healthcare services, and the quality of patient care, upgrade medical technologies and equipment, and expand access to medical treatments at Tri-City Medical Center (at no additional cost to taxpayers), shall Tri-City Healthcare District enter into an affiliation and lease agreement with the nonprofit corporation operated by Sharp HealthCare for the operation of Tri-City Medical Center in accordance with Resolution No. 829 of the District’s Board of Directors? NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, based upon the time reasonably necessary to prepare and print the arguments and sample ballots and to permit the 10-day examination period for said election, the arguments must be received in the office of the Registrar of Voters, 5600 Overland Ave., San Diego, no later than 5:00 p.m., March 12, 2026. (Arguments may be changed or withdrawn until and including this date.) Official election materials will be available for viewing at the Registrar of Voters Office in accordance with California Elections Code Sec. 9190, & 9380. All Vote Centers will be open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots will be counted at the Registrar of Voters Office.
