NOTICESANGRE DE CRISTO ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION, INC.NOTICE OF RATE AND TARIFF CHANGESNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that revisions to the electric service rates and tariffs of Sangre de Cristo Electric Association (SDCEA) will become effective July 1, 2026. These revisions are intended to improve the alignment of rates with SDCEAs purchased power costs and are not intended to increase SDCEAs overall revenues. The revised rates will apply to the electric service provided on and after July 1, 2026, and will be reflected on consumers billing statements for the July 2026 billing period, which consumers will receive in August 2026. The rate and tariff revisions apply to the following rate schedules:Rate Schedule 1 General Service ResidentialRate Schedule 2 General Service Non-ResidentialRate Schedule 10 Heating Season Declining BlockRate Schedule 11 Trout Creek Community Solar Program ResidentialRate Schedule 12 Trout Creek Community Solar Program Non-ResidentialEffective July 1, 2026, each of the above-listed Rate Schedules will be revised as follows:1. An On-Peak Demand charge of $2.50 per kW will be assessed for each billing period based on the highest one-hour energy need during SDCEAs peak demand hours, defined as 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, excluding major holidays.2. The Energy charge per kilowatt-hour (kWh) will be reduced for Rate Schedules 1, 2, and 10.3. The Distribution Services charge per kilowatt-hour (kWh) will be reduced for Rate Schedules 11 and 12.The specific changes to these Rate Schedules are available for public inspection on SDCEAs website: www.myelectric.coop/boardinfo/bylaws-rates-policies/.
