FIRST INSERTION Derelict Vessel Publication Notice NOTICE TO POTENTIAL HEIRS AND PERSONS WITH A LEGAL INTEREST IN THE BELOW DESCRIBED VESSEL The following vessel, to wit: a 1969, 58 Chris Craft has been determined to be derelict/abandoned and is unlawfully upon these waters of this state, to wit St. James Creek and must be removed within 21 days; otherwise, it will be removed and disposed of pursuant to chapter 705, Florida Statutes. Owners, heirs and other legally interested parties may have the right to a hearing to challenge the determination that this vessel is derelict or otherwise in violation of the law or to raise their interests before a tribunal. Please contact the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Legal Office at (850) 487-1764 or efile@myfwc.com in order to assert a legal interest in this vessel. The owner or the party determined to be legally responsible for the vessel being upon the waters of this state in a derelict condition will be liable for the costs of removal, destruction, and disposal if this vessel is not removed by the owner. All heirs and other persons with a legal interest in this vessel must raise such interest within 21 days of the date of first publication of this Notice.
