NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando County Sheriffs Office in accordance with Florida State Statutes Chapter 705, intends to dispose of lost/ abandoned property in one of the following manners: return to the owner; retain for agency use; trade to another government/ state agency; donate to a charitable organization; sell the property; or dispose. HCSO reserves the right to determine the proper and most effective means of disposal.
