NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando County Sheriffs Office in accordance with Florida State Statutes Chapter 705, intends to dispose of lost/ abandoned property in one of the following manners: return to the owner; retain for agency use; trade to another government/ state agency; donate to a charitable organization; sell the property; or dispose. HCSO reserves the right to determine the proper and most effective means of disposal. All persons making claims against said property must show proof of ownership or must be able to identify such property.
