PETITION NO. 1310 NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION TO VACATE, DISCONTINUE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED PLATTED RIGHT-OF-WAY TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: YOU WILL TAKE NOTICE that the Board of County Commissioners of Lake County, Florida, upon Petition, after publishing Notice thereof, did on the 10th day of March 2026, at its regular meeting in the County Administration Building, Tavares, Lake County, Florida, consider the vacating, discontinuing, and closing of any rights of Lake County and the Public in the following described portion of an unnamed platted right of way, and did vacate, discontinue, and close any rights of Lake County and the Public in the land lying within said platted right of way situated in Lake County, Florida, and being within the property described as follows: THAT PORTION OF ROADWAY LYING BETWEEN TRACTS 32 AND 33, AND BETWEEN TRACTS 31 AND 34, GROVELAND FARMS, IN SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 22 SOUTH, RANGE 25 EAST, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 2, PAGES 10 AND 11, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA; LESS AND EXCEPT ANY PORTION LYING WITHIN 33 FEET OF THE CENTERLINE OF EAST REDWING ROAD; ALSO LESS AND EXCEPT THE EAST 12 FEET OF TRACTS 31 AND 34. AND, it appearing to the Commissioners that the dedication thereof serves no useful purpose and that the general public will benefit from the vacation, discontinuation, and closing therefore, the Commissioners did vacate, discontinue, and close the above described portion of an unnamed platted right of way, on said date.
