City of Clewiston Request for Qualifications #2026-01 Library of Engineering Services for Continuing Contracts Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes (the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act or CCNA), the City of Clewiston hereby gives notice that it intends to award continuing contracts for professional services for the work specified in the Scope of Services section of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document: City of Clewiston, Florida Request for Qualifications for Library of Engineering Services for Continuing Contracts RFQ #2026-01. Services are to be provided on various projects and assignments on an as-needed basis. The City intends to retain one or more firms, pursuant to continuing contracts, to be available to perform services which may include: engineering, electrical engineering, right-of-way and traffic engineering, construction engineering, civil engineering, environmental permitting and engineering, preparation of plans and specifications, construction management and administration. The City intends to retain up to five (5) firms per discipline category. Services may also include projects such as, but not limited to planning, design and/or construction supervision of stormwater assessment and resiliency, water treatment plant expansion, wastewater treatment plant expansion, gravity collection system design and rehabilitation, wastewater transmission system, water distribution system, pump stations, and reclaimed water. Services will be required for assignments and projects including the acquisition, improvement or operation of City lands, buildings, facilities, utilities, and roads. Specific projects and assignments will be periodically issued to the retained Consultants by the City on an as-needed basis. The selected firm shall demonstrate specific experience and capabilities and must have personnel qualified through education and experience in the specified disciplines. The complete RFQ package, categories being solicited, technical requirements of the proposal, and additional information is available at City Hall, 115 W. Ventura Ave., Clewiston, Florida 33440 or at Clewiston-fl.gov. The City will evaluate and rank submittals and select the highest ranked firms from firms submitting a proposal from which to begin negotiating a contract. In order to be considered, sealed proposals (one original and six copies) labeled RFQ 2026-01 Engineering Services for Continuing Contract must be received by the City at City Hall (Clerks Office), 115 W. Ventura Ave., Clewiston, Florida 33440 by Monday, May 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., at which time all responses to this request will be recorded in the presence of one or more witnesses. Responses received after that date and time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to alter this and other schedules provided. All proposals shall remain in effect for a period of ninety (90) days after the solicitation deadline. The solicitation does not commit the City of Clewiston to award any contracts, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this RFQ, or to contract for any services. The City reserves the right to waive any formalities of the RFQ, reject any or all submittals received as a result of this solicitation, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this RFQ, to solicit new proposals, or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Clewiston.
