PUBLIC NOTICE MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ #2026-008 Professional Services Library: Water and Wastewater Engineering Services The City of Marco Island Water and Sewer Department, pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, is seeking multiple professional engineering firms to assist the utility with various water and wastewater engineering and hydrogeology projects within the below Technical Areas. Qualification packages will be received electronically through www.demandstar.com until 2:00 PM (EST) on May 28, 2026. Water/wastewater treatment plant engineering Water distribution/wastewater collection system engineering Groundwater, injection, and ASR well design/analysis/permitting Site infrastructure/drainage/development design and permitting Regulatory permitting, reporting and engineering study preparation Grant assistance Electrical engineering Instrumentation Engineering Firms possessing the required experience may submit a statement of qualifications for one, all or any of the Technical Areas. Work awarded under this contract will be for projects in which the estimated construction cost of each individual project does not exceed $7.5 million or for study activity where the fee for each individual study does not exceed $500,000. All work will be performed in accordance with industry standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
