Complex Renovations project will be accepting sealed bids from pre-qualified Trade Contractors for the following Bid Packages: 02A SELECTIVE DEMOLITION 03A CONCRETE 04A UNIT MASONRY 05A METALS 06A ROUGH CARPENTRY 07A INSULATION 07B METAL ROOF PANELS & GUTTERS 08A DOORS AND HARDWARE 09A GYPSUM BOARD ASSEMBLIES 09B INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTING 10A MISCELLANEOUS SPECIALTIES 10B MANUFACTURED EXTERIOR SPECIALTIES 12A COUNTERTOPS 22A PLUMBING 23A MECHANICAL 26A ELECTRICAL 31A SITE WORK AND GRADING BID DOCUMENTS: Electronic bid documents will be provided via ProCore or email and areavailable upon request from Southern Standard Construction beginning April 9, 2026. Invitations to pre-qualify will be sent via ProCore and per request by email to jgranger@southernstandard.cc. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required for all proposals over $100,000. Bid Requirements include the Bid Packages, and will be available on May 1, 2026. PRE-BID MEETING: A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on April 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM, EST at the FSUS Main Office, located at 3000 School House Rd, Tallahassee, FL32311. BID DUE DATE: The Trade Bids will be due May 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately thereafter at Southern Standard Construction's office, located at 3233 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308. Late bids will not be accepted. Southern Standard Construction desires to provide equal access to qualified Small, Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (SMWBE) for all construction projects. Registered SMWBE enterprises are encouraged to participate in this opportunity.
