Childers Construction Company, the Construction Manager, state license number CGC1506085, invites your firm to submit proposals for the above-referenced project.
SCOPE OF PROJECT: The project scope includes the construction of a new Restroom Pavilion situated on the campus of Rickards High School, Tallahassee, Florida. Please refer to the Project Manual Permit Documents, plans by Fitzgerald Collaborative Group, LLC, dated 4.8.26, and project documents for all work included in each scope.
BID DOCUMENTS: (Contract Documents) will be available on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Childers Construction Co.'s FTP site: www.childers-construction.com. Click on the FTP link at the bottom of the home page: Account: RICKARDS Password: PAVILION (both are case sensitive). Bidders and vendors are responsible for inquiring about additional Supplements and Addendums normally issued during the bid process. All revisions will be posted on the Childers FTP site.
GENERAL PREQUALIFICATION: All bidders on this project must pre-qualify with the Construction Manager seventy-two (72) hours before bid time. Pre-qualification forms are available on our website, www.childers-construction.com, or at the office of Childers Construction Co.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the project site on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 2:30 PM. We will meet in the large parking lot by the practice fields. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.
SEALED BIDS will be received by the Construction Manager until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Bidders are advised to hand-deliver bids, or send by US mail, FedEx, or UPS to Childers Construction Co., 3472 Weems Road, Unit 1, Tallahassee, FL 32317. All bid results listed on the "Bid Tabulations" are unofficial until scope reviews are conducted after the bid.
Minority and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation is strongly encouraged.
