Notice is hereby given that Hedrick Brothers Construction Co, Inc. and Cooper Construction Management (Construction Managers) for Palm Beach County, Florida (Owner) will receiveProposals for Main Detention Center Phase IV West Tower - Detention Doors/ Frames/ Hardware.
Scope of Work includes: Security Hollow Metal Doors-Cuff Ports, Frames & Hardware / Standard Hollow Metal Doors, Frames & Hardware / Floor Access Doors, Frames & Hardware and Sliders to Swing Door Conversions
Proposals are due on May 24, 2026 no later than 4:00 P.M.
Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of Subcontractor Proposal will be required for all Subcontractor Proposals exceeding $100,000.00. Form of Bid Bond to be AIA Contract Document A310-2010.
If total base Proposal exceeds $100,000.00, Proposer will be required to provide 100% Performance and Payment Bond equal to amount of base Proposal amount.
Proposals will be received at Hedrick Brothers Construction Co, Inc. office located at 2200 Centrepark West Drive ? West Palm Beach, FL 33409.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference and site inspection will be held at Palm Beach County Main Detention Center 3228 Gun Club Road West Palm Beach, Florida 33406 on May, 12, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. for all interested Subcontractors.
Palm Beach County, Florida has a minimum goal of 15% - Certified Small Business participation for this Project. Only firms Certified by Palm Beach County, Florida or other acceptable Small Business Certification are acceptable for participation as a Small Business firm.
Owner and/ or Construction Manager reserve the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals which is in its best interest. Owner and/ or Construction Manager also reserve the right to waive any informalities and technicalities in procedure.
All costs incurred by Proposer in preparing a Proposal shall be the sole responsibility of the Proposer.
