CITY OF SATELLITE BEACH Notice of Public Hearing The City of Satellite Beach proposes passage of the following Ordinance at a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber, 565 Cassia Boulevard, Satellite Beach, Florida: ORDINANCE NO. 1284 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SATELLITE BEACH, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA ADOPTING A NEW ARTICLE V TO CHAPTER 34, SATELLITE BEACH CITY CODE, ENTITLED GOLF CART OPERATIONS ON MUNICIPAL STREETS; PROVIDING FOR THE OPERATION OF GOLF CARTS, AS DEFINED BY 320.001 (22), FLORIDA STATUTES, ON MUNICIPAL STREETS; PROHIBITING THE OPERATION OF GOLF CARTS ON PROHIBITED STREETS AND OTHER AREAS; PROVIDING FOR OPERATIONAL AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL OPERATIONAL AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR UNLICENSED DRIVERS; PROVIDING FOR PARKING REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT; PROVIDING FOR RECIPROCITY WITH THE CITY OF INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, FL; PROVIDING FOR A VOLUNTARY INSPECTION PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILTY; CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE The proposed ordinance may be inspected at City Hall, 565 Cassia Blvd. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purposes, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
