CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING PENDING LITIGATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, the City Attorney desires the advice of the Fort Walton Beach City Council at a Special Meeting that will also entail an Executive Session on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (CDT) in the Fort Walton Beach Council Chambers at 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32548, or as soon thereafter as the issue may be heard, to receive the advice of counsel concerning the following pending litigation: FWB Watch Group, Plaintiff, V. City of Fort Walton Beach Defendant, Case No.: 2025 CA 000115, In The Circuit Court Of The First Judicial Circuit In And For Okaloosa County, Florida In attendance will be Mayor Nic Allegretto and City Council Members Logan Browning, Gloria DeBerry, Bryce Jeter, Ben Merrell, Debra Riley, David Schmidt, and Payne Walker; City Manager Jason Davis; City Attorney Jeff Burns; City Attorney Kimberly Romano Kopp; Litigation Attorney William Warner; The entire Executive Session will be transcribed by a certified court reporter and filed with the City Clerk.
