LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION VACATING, ABANDONING AND DISCONTINUING PUBLIC STREETS Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the Town Council of the Town of Grant-Valkaria, Brevard County, Florida adopted Resolution No. 05-2026 closing, vacating, abandoning, renouncing and disclaiming any right of the Town of Grant-Valkaria and the public in and to the lands lying within the confines of the portions of public streets described as: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: (PREPARED BY SURVEYOR) PARCEL ONE: That portion of Pemberton Avenue (formerly Avenue S) being bounded on the South by the North right-of-way line of Grant Road (formerly 17th Street) and being bounded on the North by the South right-of-way line of Niagara Street (formerly 15th Street) TOGETHER WITH that portion of Nimitz Street being bounded on the West by the Easterly right-of-way line of Parkington Avenue (formerly Avenue R) and being bounded on the East by the Easterly right-of-way line of Pemberton Avenue (formerly Avenue S), all of the above lying and being in the PLAT OF MELBOURNE MANOR SECTION "B", (a resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2 Section 26, Township 29 South , Range 37 East of the Plat Book 1, Page 165 of the Public Records of Brevard County, Florida) according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 24 of the Public Records of Brevard County, Florida.
