IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE FIFTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT IN AND FOR CITRUS COUNTY, FLORIDA FAMILY LAW DIVISION IN RE: The Marriage of: DOROTHY DAVIS Petitioner/Wife And JAMES TRACY ROOKS Respondent/Husband PETITION OF DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE AND RELATED RELIEF COMES NOW Dorothy Davis by and through her undersigned attorney and sues James Tracy Rooks for dissolution of marriage and would state: 1. The court has jurisdiction over the parties and the subject matter hereto. 2. The parties have been residents of the State of Florida for six months prior to filing the Petition herein. Venue is proper in Citrus County where the Wife resides. 3. Neither party is subject to the Service Members Civil Relief Act as amended. 4. The parties were married to each other March 11, 2007, and separated in April 2007 and have not resided together since. 5. The marriage is irretrievably broken and should be dissolved. 6. There are no minor children of the marriage, and the Petitioner is not pregnant. 7. The parties do not own real, personal, tangible, or intangible personal property which is subject to equitable distribution by the Court. 8. The parties do not have marital debt which is subject to equitable distribution by the Court. WHEREFORE the Petitioner/Wife respectfully requests that the court enter a Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage as follows: 9. Taking jurisdiction over the parties and the subject matter hereto. 10. Dissolving the marriage between the parties and restoring them to the status of being single. 11.
