Licensed contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the Production Well #3 Replacement Project, which generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as called for in the Contract Documents. Work includes, but is not limited to, construction or installation of the following:

New yard piping
Public water supply well construction
Public water supply well abandonment
Vertical pump installation (existing)'
Testing
Miscellaneous concrete work
Permitting
All related sitework
All related electrical and instrumentation

The contract will be awarded based on a total lump sum amount. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the project area prior to bidding. Contractor will be responsible for taking any measurements and evaluating existing infrastructure in preparation of their respective bids.

Bids will received at Cross City Town Hall, 99 NE 210 Ave., Cross City, FL 32628. If shipping via USPS, mail to P.O. Box, 417, Cross City, FL 32628. Send bids to the attention of the City Manager. Bids will be received until 3:00 pm (local time), March 17, 2026. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially completed in 60 calendar days, based on the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or bank money order in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid Sum Price. The bid bond may not be withdrawn after the scheduled opening time for a period of thirty (30) days. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 000200 Instruction to Bidders.
