Public hearing for a special exception request for a home occupation.

PUBLIC NOTICE FOR ZONING SPECIAL EXCEPTION
The Suwannee County Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing in the City Councils meeting room at the Live Oak City Hall 101 SE White Ave on Thursday evening, February 26, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, to consider the following:
Special Exception Request No. SE-26-02-01 by Vernon and Pamela Hitt for a home occupation conducted outside of the principal building, in accordance with site plan submitted as part of application, on property zoned Agriculture-1 (A-1).  
Part of the Northeast ¼ of Section 29, Township 2 South, Range 13 East, Suwannee County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows: For Point of Reference commence at the Northwest corner of said Northeast ¼, thence run North 89°58'50" East along the North line of said Section 29, a distance of 431.00 feet; thence run South 00°15'18" West, a distance of 50.14 feet to the South Right-of-Way line of County Road No. 136; thence run South 89°38'00" East along said Right-of-Way line, a distance of 11.98 feet to the Point of Beginning: thence continue South 89°38'00" East along said South Right-of-Way line, a distance of 1095.95 feet; thence run South 00°24'03" West, a distance of 175.87 feet; thence run North 89°58'50" East, a distance of 208.71 feet; thence run South 00°24'03" West, a distance of 1101.35 feet; thence run North 89°58'15" West, a distance of 1319.35 feet; thence run North 00°36'13" East, a distance of 913.74 feet; thence run North 00°32'50" West, a distance of 100.03 feet; thence run North 05°05'15" East, a distance of 79.43 feet; thence run North 03°28'34" East, a distance of 115.80 feet; thence run North 00°41'59" East, a distance of 75.04 feet to the Point of Beginning.

This public hearing may be continued to one or more future dates.  Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time and place of any continuation of this public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing and that no further notices regarding this matter will be  published, unless said continuation exceeds six calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced hearing.
At the public hearing, all interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the above referenced application.  If a person decides to appeal any decision made at the above referenced public hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purpose, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
