The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (AUTHORITY) requests interested parties to submit sealed Bids for performing all work in connection with Handyman Services as detailed within this solicitation.
The proposed work will be contracted to a Certified Small Business Enterprise, Licensed Florida General Contractor and consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to complete projects as detailed in the contract documents.
The project involves replacing, reconstructing, or repairing existing public buildings or structures owned by the Authority.
All work shall be in accordance with provided Plans & Specifications and shall be in compliance with all applicable codes.
The work is located in Palm Beach County, Florida and will be performed at various service locations on an as-needed basis.
CONTRACTOR shall cooperate and coordinate with work to be completed by others if required.
A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on TUESDAY, MARCH 3, 2026, AT 2:00 PM EST, at 7501 North Jog Road  Administration Building Auditorium, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33412, open to all interested parties, at which time Authority Staff will be present to answer questions and explain the intent of the Bid. ATTENDANCE IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
The AUTHORITY only accepts bids and proposals electronically through Bonfire. Interested parties may obtain the Bid documents by downloading from the AUTHORITYs website at www.swa.org or through Bonfire at https://swa.bonfirehub.com/ Bids must be received by the AUTHORITY no later than 2:00 pm EST time, MARCH 25, 2026, through Bonfire. If you are new to Bonfire, please register your company for access to this and other solicitation opportunities.
Please be advised that paper and emailed bid submittals will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted through Bonfire at the time and date specified.
