BRIGHTWATERS STORMWATER POND

The City of Cocoa Beach is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Brightwaters Stormwater Pond Project. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Cocoa Beach at the City Clerk office located at 2 South Orlando Ave. Cocoa Beach, FL 32931, until 2pm local time, on April 3, 2026. The Invitation to Bid package may be obtained on the Citys website at www.cityofcocoabeach.com/bids.aspx and at www.demandstar.com. Bids must be submitted with one (1) unbound original and four (4) copies with a flash drive containing one (1) file in PDF format of the hard copy of the bid exactly as submitted.
At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all Bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Delivery of sealed bids to the City Clerks office on or before the above date is solely and strictly the responsibility of the Bidder. Late bids will not be accepted.
The City of Cocoa Beach is requesting qualifications from an engineering firm for the feasibility study, design, permitting, bidding services, and construction oversight of the proposed Brightwaters Stormwater Pond located north of Brightwater Dr., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. The lots parcel ID is 24-37-27-CI-36.1. The Citys 2021 Stormwater Master Plan Update identifies CIP Project FLOOD-01 Basin A Flood Improvements and CIP Project FLOOD-02 Brightwaters  Dorset Outfall System improvements as recommended flood improvement projects.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 at 2PM in the Commission Chambers at Cocoa Beach City Hall, 2 South Orlando Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.
Bid and performance bonds are not required.
The Proposal shall be firm for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the public opening.
