ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Murray Middle School Partial Low-Sloped Roof Replacement ITB2026-014 Sealed bids will be received by the St. Johns County School Board for the construction of Murray Middle School Partial Low-Sloped Roof Replacement located in the central portion of St. Johns County, Florida. Work includes Roof Replacement and Repairs. All bids (to include an original and one copy) must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside Murray Middle School Partial Low-Sloped Roof Replacement, ITB2026-014. Bids will be received in the office of the St. Johns County School District, Facilities and Operations Office, 3740 International Golf Parkway, Suite 200, (adjacent to Mill Creek Academy) St. Augustine, Florida 32092 until 1:00pm prevailing local time, Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. The bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud. The successful bidder must be pre-qualified with St. Johns County School District prior to award of any contract. For more information on pre-qualification contact Dennis Ramharry, Construction Project Manager, St. Johns County School District (904)547-8157. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11:00am at Murray Middle School, 150 North Holmes Blvd, St. Augustine, Florida 32084. This will be the only site visit for this project. Drawings and Specifications are available through VendorLink, www.myvendorlink.com All notices relative to this bid, including but not limited to initial release, addenda, letters of intent and awards will be posted on VendorLink, www.myvendorlink.com All questions concerning the project shall be submitted, in writing, to the Design Consultant, A/R/C Associates, Incorporated. This office is the only point where information will be disseminated. All questions must be received by 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.Final Addendum will be issued Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Send all questions by email to Jim Ripley, at jimr@arc-arc.com Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five days after the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and record in the official records of the county in which the project is located a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond in the form identified herein. The St. Johns County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and minor irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the District. Note: Certain rights are granted to you under Florida Law, and we are required by that law to notify you that if you are going to file a protest that, "Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes." Pursuant to section 287.137(2)(a), Florida Statutes, a person or an affiliate who has been placed on the antitrust violator vendor list following a conviction or being held civilly liable for an antitrust violation may not submit a bid, proposal, or reply for any new contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity; may not submit a bid, proposal, or reply for a new contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work; may not submit a bid, proposal, or reply on new leases of real property to a public entity; may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a new contract with a public entity; and may not transact new business with a public entity.
