Advertisement for Bids The City of Carrabelle is accepting bids for the Construction of Hangar Building project at the Carrabelle Thompson Airport. This project consists of the construction of a three-unit box hangar with a fourth unit alternate at Carrabelle-Thompson Airport. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to removal of existing pavements, earthwork and sodding, pavement markings, building foundation, metal hangar building, electrical systems. Bids will be received at Carrabelle City Hall, 1206 Highway 98 East, Carrabelle, FL, until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened. Bid documents will be available beginning February 18, 2026, by email request to katie.horrnik@kimley-horn.com. A non mandatory pre bid conference will be held March 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Carrabelle City Hall. Any questions are to be submitted via email katie.horrnik@kimley-horn.com no later than Wednesday, March 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm local time.
