The City Council of the City of Indian Harbour Beach, Brevard County, Florida, willconvene in the City Hall LTC Norman C Hayes and Marilyn C. Hayes Council Chamber,2055 South Patrick Drive, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. for the purposeof hearing all persons interested in the following proposed ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-03
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH,FLORIDA ADOPTING A NEW ARTICLE VII OF CHAPTER 19 OF THECODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY, ENTITLED GOLF CARTOPERATIONS ON MUNICIPAL STREETS; PROVIDING FOR THEOPERATION OF GOLF CARTS AS DEFINED BY FLORIDA STATUTES320.001 (22) ON MUNICIPAL STREETS; PROHIBITING THEOPERATION OF GOLF CARTS ON PROHIBITED STREETS ANDOTHER AREAS; PROVIDING FOR OPERATIONAL AND EQUIPMENTREQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL OPERATIONALAND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR UNLICENSED DRIVERS;PROVIDING FOR PARKING REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FORENFORCEMENT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEAL ANDCODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The proposed ordinance is available for public inspection at City Hall, 2055 South PatrickDrive, Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Allpersons wishing to be heard should appear in person at this hearing or send writtencomments to the City Clerk. All persons and parties are hereby advised that if they shoulddecide to appeal any decision made by the City with respect to any matter considered atthe public meeting or hearing described in this notice, they will need a record of theproceedings, and for such purpose, said person or party may need to ensure that averbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony andevidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Chapter 286, Florida Statutes). Incompliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), anyone who needs a specialaccommodation for this meeting should contact the City Clerk at (321) 773-3181 at least48 hours in advance of this meeting.
