FIRST INSERTION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA Pursuant to the Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the City of Winter Garden City Commission will, on March 26, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon after as possible, hold a public hearing in the City Commission Chambers located at 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida in order to consider the adoption of the following ordinance(s): ORDINANCE 26-09 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE OAKLAND PARK PUD APPROVED BY ORDINANCE 05-26 AS PREVIOUSLY AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 12-08, BY REZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS APPROXIMATELY 1.93 +/- ACRES LOCATED AT 15411, 15540 AND 15541 EAST OAKLAND AVENUE AND 841 TILDEN OAKS TRAIL; FROM PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) TO PCD (PLANNED COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT) PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN PCD REQUIREMENTS AND DESCRIBING THE DEVELOPMENT AS MCKINNON SQUARE; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Copies of the proposed ordinance(s) (which includes the legal description in metes and bounds of the proposed site) may be inspected by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday of each week, except for legal holidays, at the Planning & Zoning Division in City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida. Written comments will be accepted before or at the public hearings. Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board at such hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose you may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
