NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE BY CITY COMMISSION, GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA
Notice is hereby given that the proposed ordinance whose title appears below will be considered for a first reading on February 19, 2026, at a meeting of the Gainesville City Commission. The ordinance will be heard at 10:00 a.m., or will be read as soon thereafter as may be heard. If passed, a second reading of the ordinance will be heard on March 5, 2026, at a meeting of the Gainesville City Commission. The meeting is scheduled to be held in the City Hall Auditorium, on the first floor of City Hall, 200 East University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. An ordinance of the City of Gainesville, Florida, amending the Zoning Map Atlas by rezoning approximately 1.87 acres of property generally at 1124 SE 27th Street, as more specifically described in this ordinance, from Single-Family (SF) to Public Services and Operations (PS); providing directions to the City Manager; providing a severability clause; providing a repealing clause; and providing an effective date.
