NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT/REZONING The City of Wildwood proposes to adopt the following ordinances: ORDINANCE O2026-12 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WILDWOOD, FLORIDA, PROPOSING A SMALL-SCALE FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT TO THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND FUTURE LAND USE MAP IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY PLANNING ACT OF 2011, AS AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ORDINANCE O2026-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WILDWOOD, FLORIDA; PROPOSING A ZONING MAP A MENDMENT T O T HE O FFICIAL Z ONING M AP I N A CCORDANCE W ITH SECTIONS 3.2 AND 3.3 OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The ordinances shall be heard at the City Hall Commission Chamber, 100 North Main Street, Wildwood, Florida during the regularly scheduled meetings as follows: Local Planning Agency/Planning & Zoning Board/Special Magistrate on April 7th, 2026 at 2:00 and 2:15 PM. City Commission first reading on April 27th, 2026 at 7:00 PM and public hearing (adoption hearing) on May 11th, 2026 at 9:00 AM. O2026-12 proposes to change the Future Land Use Map designation from Rural Residential (Sumter County) to Mobile Home Park (City) and O2026-13 proposes to change the Zoning Map designation from R6M (Sumter County) to MHP (City) on parcel G22AO009.
