OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") will hold a Public Hearing on February 12, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. or anytime thereafter in the City Commission chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133. In accordance with the CRA's 2019 Redevelopment Plan ("Plan") and Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, the Board will consider funding an amount not to exceed Nine Hundred Thirty Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($935,000.00) to Rogers Jones, an individual and the owner of the property located at 1502 North West 1st Court, Miami, Florida, within the CRA area, to underwrite the expenditures and costs associated with the rehabilitation of a 7-unit mixed-income housing project consisting of 3 units for Very Low-Income eligible residents whose annual income is equal to or less than 30% of the Area Median Income ("AMI") for Miami-Dade County, as published annually by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"), and 4 units for Moderate-Income eligible residents whose annual income is equal to or less than 80% AMI for Miami-Dade County, as published annually by HUD. This funding is critical to addressing slum and blight while enhancing affordable housing options in the community, consistent with the goals outlined in the CRA's Plan. The CRA Board requests all interested parties be present or represented at the meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the Board, in which the Board may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105). Pursuant to Resolution No. CRA-R-25-0031, whenever a scheduled CRA meeting is cancelled or is not held due to a lack of a quorum or other emergency, a special CRA meeting will be automatically scheduled for Tuesday immediately following the cancelled meeting. In the event of one of the aforementioned circumstances, the special meeting would be held on February 17, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., or anytime thereafter, in the City Commission chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133. All of the scheduled agenda items from that cancelled meeting shall automatically be scheduled as an agenda item at the special CRA meeting. The Clerk of the Board shall notify the public of the special meeting that is to take place by placing a notice of the special CRA meeting at the entrance of City Hall, placing a notice on the OMNI CRA's website, and, if feasible, placing an ad in a newspaper of general circulation before the special meeting on the immediately following Tuesday. There shall be no additional notice by publication required for any such scheduled agenda item that is moved to the special CRA meeting.
